Default Pass objects between two accounts

I have a question.

There is a risk that you baneen GW account if you pass objects between two accounts that are under your ownership.

I want to transfer minipets and weapons without risk.

Thanks for all.

It depends the value of the items you pass across. Heavily one sided trades are flagged up (ie if you're passing around a stack of ectos) and that can lead to an automatic ban for botting behaviour. These are removed if you contact support - you'll just need to prove ownership of the accounts, this is obviously easier if both accounts are tied to the same PlayNC account.

That being said, I've happily moved around loads of stuff between my accounts without being suspended, including 100 or so zkeys and alike. I used to use 3 accounts to manage my Guru Auctions, passing around 20 or so items around at a time. Minipets and low-medium priced weapons should be fine.

I've done that myself and haven't been banned before.. There is a risk from what I've heard around since you might be spotted as a bot or so.

But, in my experience I've transferred more than 1 mil in cash, tons of weapons, minipets, consumables, ~1000 ectos and ~1000 Zaishen keys. Basically my 2nd account is a mule/farm account.

I've also helped another Guru member here around a year ago transfer his cash, ectos, weapons and minipets from his 2nd account to his 1st and we never had a problem on either of the 3 accounts in total. That was around a year ago.

Hope it helps.

EDIT: I didn't tranfer all that at once, but in total. The person I helped transferred ~ 400k, ~ 10 minipets(not rare) and ~ 200k worth of consumables.

the other day i was in kamadan, and some dude who was quitting the game decided to give me all his stuff as i was the only one who offered to help him when he asked.

the stuff he gave me was about 450 ecto, 170 lockpicks, 30 odd diamonds, rubies and saphires and about 40 shards. with me giving nothing back in return. and i havent had any sort of ban or suspension so far...

so hopefully you should be fine, or i just got lucky... twice...

I have a main account and a mule account, both connected to the same plaync master account. I don't care about how one-sided the transfers between them are (for example many minipets without compensation in return). I simply perform the neccessary transfers. No problems so far.

Not every trade is watched, I assume only one-sided trades for gold or ectoplasm is watched, since this is the in-game currency real-money-traders use. Minipets and other trades are probably not watched. We have two persons with everlasting tonics in our guild. Sometimes, we pass the tonics around to transform everyone in the guild hall just for fun. Never had any issue about this.

Several times, I collected a few hundred k from guild mates in one trade each, went to a lockpick dealer, got lockpicks, and gave back the lockpicks to the guild mates. Many transfers were one-sided transfers, no issue.

What I would say is.As long as you aren't passing stuff from one account to a large multiple of other accounts and not getting anything back I wouldn't worry.

Even if you did get banned,it woul probably be some kind of autoban for doing botlike behaviors, but if that was to happen you would contact support and they would probably see that it was mistaken.

Trade away!

I do this a lot between 5 accounts never had a problem "yet" and there not linked to same plaync account.
Safe way to trade is trade something both ways even if its just 10 bones for 100k

Grats.... but unless you knew the guy, it was probably a hacked account and he was getting rid of stuff before being caught. Not all hackers do so to make money, som do it just to screw with people.

And the people who think trading 10 bones for 100k is effective are deluding themselves. Even the gold sellers ask you to do this, and Anet isn't stupid enough to see nothing wrong happening if it is just because of a bad trade. Nobody knows how Anet finds these trades. It may be autoflagged based on what is traded, or if may be monitored by a real person. If people knew how it was done, it wouldn't be effective. We do know it isn't perfect, as people have posted about mistakes made.... unless they lied about it

Make screenshots on both sides as an additional proof of your ownership of the accounts.

I always trade something for something and yeah 10 bones for 100k sometimes for the
past 4 years and never had a problem yet.
I didn't know the gold sellers ask you to do the 10 bones as MagmaRed said. O.o
never used and never will use gold sellers so didn't know how the trade went down.
Maybe i do need to rethink and follow Arduinna's advice and screenshot all trades between accounts from now on.

I, like many others here have traded massive amounts of loot between my accounts without problems. This includes me dumping more than 300k from one account to the next, as I was out of room for it on my other acct. I'd guess that even if these transactions are flagged, anet has a policy in place for checking the info of the accts involved. If your name is on both accts, there shouldn't be much suspicion involved. If you DO get a ban, you can always prove that you own both accts so there will be no issue. Good hunting.

I have never used gold sellers myself either. I have, however, talked with people who have. One of the people who used to help me trade my things between accounts was someone who bought gold from a website. As soon as I learned he had done that I stopped asking him to help me trade between accounts. I didn't want his connection to gold sellers come back to me in some way. In addition to the one person I knew personally, people in my guilds/alliances have mentioned it as well.

Gold sellers are not stupid. If a meaningless trade would protect them, they would learn about it fast and use it. It may slow things down some, but it isn't protection from a ban. I have traded a lot of stuff myself, and helped others as well. I have never been banned. But if it is something you are worried about, as noted, a screenshot from all possible sides will provide proof that you own the accounts, and if that won't work, you best have access to the axcess keys.

If you have a guild hall, make your trades there. My guild mate and I are always moving things from 1 account to another. He will farm a couple hundred thousand coins and give me half. He passes all his tomes to me to sell or we send mules full of gifts, runes, etc., from pre to post and split them in half. We always do this in our GH and in 4 years, have not had any problems.

I always trade stuff between my 2 accounts without a token return trade. Why would anyone get banned for that? It's obvious that both accounts are only accessed from the same IP, so the gold seller argument is wrong.

I have traded my torm weapon and shield between my 2 accounts. I transfered gold by 100k from my sub-account to main account.

I have never been banned for any reason at all.

This is actually a pretty good idea.
Even better if you take a screenshot of your desktop showing both accounts on GWML or whatever you use during the trade. If you trade using 2 computers take at least that 1 screenshot of the trade from both sides.

Both accounts will show the same IP anyway, so why would you need screenshots?
